Graduating Cum Laude from UC Berkley with a Biochemistry degree, he obtained his medical doctor diploma from UC Irvine Medical School. After completing a rotation Internship at USC Medical Center, he undertook a year of General Surgery. He then completed his Facial Plastics and Head & Neck training at UCLA where he received the prestigious Chief Resident Award in Head and Neck Surgery and he was in the 95th percentile in his specialty exam.

To further extend his knowledge and expertise, he completed a Fellowship for one year with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During his Fellowship, he was fortunate to train with one of the innovator in hair transplantation. Together, they developed a more natural result and techniques to use hair transplants to replace hair loss from injury.
