  
Dr. Nam specializes in facial plastic surgery including
laser surgery for wrinkle and spot removal. He is a highly
skilled surgeon who has performed numerous facelifts as
well as complex eyelid and nose procedures. Dr. Nam’s
expertise further extends to the ear, nose and throat
areas where he diagnoses and treats medical conditions
such as chronic stuffy nose and sinus or allergy related
symptoms, for a growing body of loyal clientele.
Dr. Nam received his medical training at the New York
University School of Medicine. He was subsequently selected
from among hundreds of outstanding applicants to be
a resident in the highly competitive field of facial
and head/neck reconstructive surgery at the Northwestern
University Medical School where he graduated in 1990.
Dr. Nam’s academic career began back in 1981 when he
graduated with honors from Princeton University, with
a Bachelor degree in Chemistry.
Over the years, Dr. Nam has presented lectures at his alma
mater, the Northwestern University Medical School in
addition to co-authoring a number of breakthrough articles
for various journals of medicine.
He has also been interviewed on various news and T.V. programs
including CBS News, “Women 2 Women� with Ann Martin,
about his expertise on various plastic surgeries. He
holds professional memberships in such institutions
as the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American
Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery,
and is a distinguished Fellow of the American College
of Surgeons.
Dr. Nam is currently a medical director of the LaPeer Surgery
Center in Beverly Hills. He also has been serving as
the Chief of Head and Neck Surgery at the Brotman Medical
Center. He now resides in Los Angeles with his wife
and two young boys. He cherishes time spent with family
and consciously strives to be a worthy role model by
donating time and energy back to the community through
his efforts with non-profit organizations. A talented
